I usually don't "fade" at all, I just use Mix to start the 2nd song when the 1st song is fading-out "naturally". I've done quite a few CDs/mixes with "traditional" DJ crossfades. Any good advise would be greatly appreciated. I do realize that my final edits may not sound as good as a professional DJ, but hopefully at least as close as possible. I have waited almost a couple years for Goldwave to maybe add some better cool DJ effects, but not sure when or if this will ever happen.
I have went through just about all of Goldwave's built in Effects and sounds like reverse, censor, Stereo Center effects to do this, but the results are just okay, not very impressive like a real DJ that mixes out curse words or parts of songs, without pauses or noticeable skips in beat of song.
I Would like to use these to do smooth sounding, editing out of curse words, or unwanted parts of songs etc, or for joining different parts of a song together smoothly. Hello all, I am just a Home Ipod party DJ with my music as hobby etc, does anyone know where I can where I can get addtl Free or at least low cost, DJ mixing and scratching sound effects mainly, along with other cool sound effects plugins that are compatible with my Goldwave editor and Windows PC?
